ADVANCED NETWORK TRAINING WORKSHOPS

  • Advanced Network Training Workshop
    1-4 June 2001
    Stockholm, Sweden

    This year's Network Training Workshop marks a departure from previous workshops. The workshop is designed to bring a group of 25-30 Internet leaders in their countries to INET 2001 for an intensive update in Internet-related technology and policy issues. It will take place from June 1-4 in Stockholm.

The workshop is co-sponsored by the Internet Society and the Global Internet Policy Initiative, which is a joint activity of the Center for Democracy and Technology (www.cdt.org) and Internews (www.internews.org).

Participation in the workshop is by invitation only.

Sida LogoThe workshop is made possible by a generous contribution from Sida (Swedish International Cooperation Development Agency).

The fourth Latin American Networking Workshop will be held in Merida, Venezuela, from May 28 to June 2, 2001.

Seven concurrent tracks will explore Networking Technologies, Information Services, Content Developers in L.A and C., Advanced Routing Techniques, Internet and Society, Network Security and Fostering Projects Towards the Information Society. All activities will be conducted in Spanish. A distinguished body of experts will discuss with some 200 participants from 20 countries the current technologies and future trends in networking and applications.
