THE 6TH INTERNATIONAL INTERNET SOCIETY CONFERENCE
MONTREAL CONVENTION CENTRE
This year's program is focusing on worldwide issues of Internet networking, with some 200 presentations on 50 different topics. The conference keynote speakers are: John Morgridge, Chairman of the Board of Cisco Inc.; Reed Hundt, Chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission; and French Senator Pierre Lafitte, Vice-President of the Commission of Cultural Affairs of the Senate. The conference is expected to draw over 2500 individuals worldwide and is being hosted by Canada for the first time.
Founded in 1991, the Internet Society has served as the International organization for global coordination and cooperation on the Internet, promoting and maintaining a broad spectrum of activities focused on the Internet's development, availability and associated technologies.
ACCREDITATION: PLEASE COMPLETE THE ACCREDITATION FORM AND SUBMIT IT TO THE INTERNET SOCIETY BY MAY 30TH. YOUR CONFERENCE PASS CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE PRESS ROOM FROM 25-28 JUNE, 1996. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PRESENT IDENTIFICATION ATTESTING TO YOUR CREDENTIALS AS A JOURNALIST (A BUSINESS CARD OR LETTER FROM YOUR EDITOR).
