James Richardson
President - EMEA Operations Cisco Systems
Cisco Systems
Richardson, a 16 year veteran of the high tech industry and 7 year veteran
at Cisco, has been a key contributor on Cisco's executive management
committee for 5 years whilst the company has grown from $350 million to over
$6 billion. In addition to sales and marketing expertise his key
contributions have been in sponsoring software and product development
activities in the access and IBM markets, as well as with Cisco's key IOS
development activities.
Richardson was appointed as President EMEA Operations following his success
at founding and developing foreign subsidiaries as Vice President of
Intercontinental Operations from 1992 to 1994, and as Vice President of
North America Operations, where he groomed a $650 million operation and grew
it to a run rate in excess of $2 billion during FY1995 and 1996.
Prior to joining Cisco in 1990 Richardson held a number of line and staff
senior management positions at Unisys, Canada.
Richardson, a native of Canada, lives with his wife and daughter in
Berkshire, UK.
