Registration Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

Pre-registration for INET'98 has closed. You may register on-site when On-Site Registration opens at 07:30, Monday, 20 July, at the main level registration kiosks in the Palexpo Conference Center. Carlson Wagonlit, the Official INET'98 Professional Conference Organizer, is overseeing INET'98 registration, hotel requests, and tour requests. Please do not contact the Internet Society if you have questions about registration, tours or hotels that you have booked. These types of questions should be directed to <inet98.cong@cwt.ch>.

FEES

All-Inclusive Conference Passport -- 20-24 July 1998
Internet Society Member $965 / Non-Member $1015

Includes Educational Sessions, Opening Reception, Gala Evening, luncheons, coffee breaks, and all conference materials, including the Conference Program Book, Abstracts, and CD-ROM Proceedings, plus attendance at Tutorials, K-12 Workshop, Developing Countries Networking Symposium and the INET'98 Conference, 20-24 July, 1998. You must pre-register for tutorials and workshops for planning purposes. Badges and registration materials will be distributed on-site.

INET'98 Conference -- 21-24 July 1998
Internet Society Member $695 / Non-Member $795

Covers attendance at the following events, 21-24 July 1998: Educational Sessions, Opening Reception, Gala Evening, luncheons, coffee breaks, and all conference materials, including the Conference Program Book, Abstracts, and CD-ROM Proceedings. Badges and registration materials will be distributed on-site.

One-Day Pass
Internet Society Member/Non-Member $300/day

Includes attendance at the INET'98 conference and Exhibition Hall for the day, lunch, coffee break, and all conference materials.

 

Guest Package
Internet Society Member Guest/Non-Member Guest $225

Registration fee for an accompanying person/guest includes the Opening Reception, Gala Evening, and an Exhibition Hall pass. Conference materials and attendance at the plenaries, breakout sessions, luncheons and breaks are not included in the fee. This special registration category provides an opportunity for primary registrants to bring their spouses, children or guests to the social events. Professionals active in the Internet industry may not register as Guests.

 

DISCOUNTS

Discounts are available to persons registering under the following circumstances.

Member Discount

Persons with ISOC memberships will receive discounts on any package or event. To qualify for the ISOC Member rate you must have a current membership in the Internet Society in your name. The INET'98 Non-Member registration fee includes one year of ISOC membership, which begins the first day of the month after payment is received.

Group Discounts
Three (3) to five (5) registrants $675/each
Six (6) to nine (9) registrants $650/each
Ten (10) or more) registrants $620/each

Organizations registering multiple people for the INET'98 Conference. Registrations must be received from one organization on a single invoice and/or payment. (ISOC membership dues are not included with Group Discounts.)

 

Speaker Discounts

Persons presenting tutorials, workshops, papers, or sessions are entitled to register at the April 15 (early), member rates.

 

PAYMENT

Payment in full is required.The following payment methods are accepted: Personal Check, Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Eurocard, Diners Club). Carlson Wagonlit can not accept cash, corporate invoices, or purchase orders.

 

PRE-CONFERENCE EVENTS

Workshops and tutorials are not included in the INET'98 Conference fee and are priced individually, unless you register for the All-Inclusive Conference Passport (see above). Please register early to ensure that space and materials are available to you.

 

TRANSFERS OF REGISTRATION

All transfers and changes must have been received by 11 July 1998 and cannot be accepted on-site.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

No refunds can be made after 11 July 1998.
