Tour Information
San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau (INET99 Official Tour Company) INET99 SJCVB Destination Planning All Tour rates are in US Dollars. Tour tickets will be available for pick up on-site at the McEnery Convention Center near the Registration Desk. For attendees who plan on participating in the "Pier Fun" tour, tickets will be delivered to your hotel. Please be sure to indicate which hotel you are staying at and the date and time of your arrival. Payment must be included with the tour reservation form. Tour buses will leave from the convention center and attendees should plan on arriving at least 20-minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. To register for a tour, use the enclosed tour registration form and mail or fax it to the contact information listed on the form or visit ISOCs web page at http://www.isoc.org/inet99/tours.shtml to email your tour registration. All questions and inquiries should be directed to the SJCVB and not to the ISOC Secretariat office. Any changes and/or cancellations must be in writing and forwarded to the SJCVB. PIER FUNSunday, 20 June 1999 Enjoy a one-hour narrated city tour of San Francisco aboard the famous cable cars and see the leading sights of Frisco. Your tour will end at Pier 39, a 45-acre complex which houses more than 100 unique shops and restaurants so you can enjoy lunch on your own. End your day by cruising to the former federal prison, Alcatraz, for a self guided tour with audio, which gives the history and stories of this famous landmark. (Due to number of hills, this tour is not recommended for people with physical limitations).
