PacINET 2006 in Apia, Samoa
PacINET 2006, the annual conference of the Pacific Islands Chapter (PICISOC) will be held August 21st - 26th 2006 in Apia, Samoa.
The conference is shaping up to be an interesting mix of ICT issues covering the Internet, and cross-sectoral ICT issues such as eHealth, GIS and Land Information Systems, ICT in Education and more technical threads such as setting up a VoIP PBX and Wireless Networks. Dr Vinton Cerf, Internet Pioneer, will also be attending this year's conference and deliver the keynote address.
