Peering Coordinators Day

June 10, 2011

The Peering Coordinators day will be held on 10 June 2011 at the Kunduchi Hotel starting from 0900hrs. The event agenda is provided below.

The Peering Coordinators day is a one-day event capacity building event and a precursor to the main AfPIF event scheduled for August, 2011 in Accra, Ghana. The objective of the peering coordinators day is to develop the technical & business capacity of African Peering managers involved in establishing and implementing peering relationships and agreements. Further, it will also seek to identify the technical challenges as well as the solutions for regional interconnection, including Internet Exchange Points.

The event is open and will be of particular interest to Peering Coordinators, Business development Managers, Internet providers and operators, telecommunications regulators, content providers, Internet Exchange Point (IXP) Operators, infrastructure providers, Data Center Managers, National Research and Education Networks, Carriers and Transit providers.
