INET Beirut 2010 is a one-day conference that is organized by the Internet
Society in collaboration with the Lebanon Chapter of the Internet Society - See www.isoc.org.lb. Its target audience will include a wide spectrum of Internet users hailing mainly from Lebanon. The meeting will focus on the following three themes:
- Doing Business in the Social Networking Era
- Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
- Child Safety on the Internet

Routing Security Workshop

Trainer: Randy Bush, Research Fellow and Network Operator, Internet Initiative, Japan.
Participant are encouraged to bring their portables to the training room starting 11:00 am to make sure that they are set for the workshop
Workshop Syllabus:
- Routing Security and Route Origin Validation (no more YouTube incidents)
- Introduction to the Resource Private Key Infrastructure being deployed by IANA, RIRs, and large ISPs
- Using the RPKI for Origin Validation and other things
- Introduction to the Open Source Toolkit for the RPKI
Prerequisites for participants:
- Unix System Administration
- Good Understanding of bgp
- Portable Computer with linux partition
