The Internet is the primary cornerstone for business and communication today. In order to continue being a trusted, mission-critical platform, the Internet must be seen and proven to be secure, reliable and private. The INET conference is set to create a stimulus for learning, collaborating and defining strategies that shape the future of your business. It is a unique forum to meet, discuss and learn from the people driving the development of the Internet.
The Internet Society organizes the INET Conference, and it will bring together around 150-200 Internet stakeholders to discuss the challenges, opportunities and threats facing the Internet.
Over the last 18 months, the Internet Society has hosted similar events to discuss the importance of securing future growth and stability of the Internet in Cape Town, Kuala Lumpur, Montevideo, Hong Kong, Dakar, Delhi, Panama City, Buenos Aires, San Francisco, Cairo, Washington DC, Frankfurt and London. Cotonou is the Internet Society’s next venue in Africa.
The theme of the Cotonou INET Conference is "Best practices for Internet Security".
