Businesses may need to "recover"
encryption keys from time to time. However the U.S. Government has latched onto
this requirement to facilitate the turning of the global electronic village into
a surveillance society, where law enforcement and national security interests
make the rules. This talk will discuss what business really needs and where the
government is inappropriately interfering. Key point - if the government is successful,
the security of the global communications infrastructure will be severely damaged.
