The Internet Society provides leadership in addressing issues that confront the future of the Internet, serves as the organizational home for the groups responsible for Internet infrastructure standards, acts as a global clearinghouse for Internet information and education, and facilitates and coordinates Internet-related initiatives around the world focused on enabling access, building InterNetWorks, and ensuring trust and identity. About the PositionReporting directly to the COO, the Director of Business Development provides leadership, management, and coordination for ISOC’s revenue generation programs. Internally, the Director collaborates with other senior professionals in the design, implementation, integration, and monitoring of programs and activities. Externally, the Director identifies, cultivates, and manages relationships with donors to raise the funds needed for ISOC’s initiatives. Working as a member of the Leadership Team, the Director serves as the catalyst for linking and aligning organizational professional talents and program assets and activities to effectively and efficiently realize the organization's goals. The Director also acts as an entrepreneur identifying new opportunities for programs, campaigns and partnerships to advance ISOC’s mission. Responsibilities
