Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of the Internet Society is its governing body and is responsible for all
affairs of the organisation worldwide. As stated in the By-Laws, the Board of Trustees shall consist of not more than twenty Trustees unless and until such number is changed by action of the Board of Trustees. Each Trustee appointed or elected shall hold office for a period of three years, except when some shorter term is specified by the Board of Trustees with respect to the appointment of election of a particular Trustee.
Trustees serve in the interest of the Internet Society as a whole, but are appointed or elected by the following groups: Chapters, Organization members, and the Internet Architecture Board (IAB). |
