* Founder and former CEO and Managing Director of IBIS (International Banking Information Systems Limited), the second largest supplier of application software (and related services) in the wholesale banking sector. Tricia left IBIS at the end of 1996 following the sale of the business to Financial Objects Plc by its ultimate parent company (the Italian Bank - Monte dei Paschi di Siena) as part of a non core business disposal programme. At this time, IBIS had an annual income of more than £17 million, with more than 100 leading international bank clients operating in more than 250 "active sites" in more than 20 countries. IBIS also had overseas offices in New York, Singapore, Luxembourg and Prague. In 1994, IBIS was awarded the Queen's Award for Export Achievement. IBIS was also a leading international IBM Business Partner. Tricia was Chairman of the UK IBM Business Partner Advisory Group, and a leading member of various international "Advisory Groups" mainly in relation to Technology and Marketing both in the UK and USA.

* 12th Master of The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (Year 1998/99), the 100th livery company of the City of London. The theme for Tricia's year of office was "The Challenge of Global Opportunity" and, as Master, she took an active and lead role in many of the Company's important initiatives in Education, Charity and Commerce.

* In the years 1997/99 Tricia's main focus and time commitment has been with The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists. Some examples: * Tricia chaired "The PORT" Feasibility Study, a major initiative led by Sir Brian Jenkins and facilitated by Andersen Consulting, which involved over 30 major institutions working together to develop a blue-print for the future infrastructure and operation of global financial markets. The "Way Forward" Report published in June 1998 is now well on the way to becoming a reality. * More recently, Tricia has worked with the Corporation of London and Financial Services institutions in preparing evidence for the DTI Select Committee, and responses to the Consultative Document(s) and currently the draft Electronic Commerce Bill. Tricia has also participated in the work of the Cabinet Office's Performance and Innovation Unit in relation to Electronic Commerce and Retail Financial Services. On 28 May 1999, WCIT hosted "Grasping the Nettle - Embracing Global Opportunity", an important Conference attended by over 200 senior representatives of City Institutions chaired by Sir Brian Jenkins with speakers including from Goldman Sachs, the Cabinet Office and the Lord Mayor. .

* Trustee of TheSite (www.thesite.org) - the leading web-site for young people (15 - 24 year olds) providing free on-line information, help and advice across a wide range of subjects and a searchable database of both nationwide and local organisations offering dedicated help to young people and the general public

* Tricia is a Certified Accountant (F.C.C.A. - 1970), worked for Unilever (1967-69) and Shell International Petroleum Co. (1969-72) prior to joining Italian International Bank (a member of the Monte dei Paschi Banking Group) in 1972. Tricia was the Controller and Company Secretary of the Bank until 1987, and was Chairman of the Foreign Banks Association Operations Committee (1980 - 1987) and a member of its Fiscal Committee (1978 - 1987).

* Tricia is married and lives with her husband and three blue persian cats in Regent's Park, London and is passionately fond of fine wine and opera.
