- member of isoc.org since 1995;

- Global Internet Policy Initiative coordinator for Bulgaria, 2002.
- Filed and sued the Bulgarian government in 1999 against the proposed
licensing of ISPs, and eventual control over information on the Internet.
- Expert to the telecommunications commission at the Bulgarian Parliament
(2002)
- Co-author of the changes in the telecom law (2001), which lead to VoIP
left outside of the monopoly of the state-owned Bulgarian telecom.
