Very Brief Bio:
- member of isoc.org since 1995;
- founder and chairman of isoc.bg since 1995.
- chairman, President's Council for Information Technologies, 2002;
- Global Internet Policy Initiative coordinator for Bulgaria, 2002.
- Filed and sued the Bulgarian government in 1999 against the proposed
licensing of ISPs, and eventual control over information on the Internet.
- Expert to the telecommunications commission at the Bulgarian Parliament
(2002)
- Co-author of the changes in the telecom law (2001), which lead to VoIP
left outside of the monopoly of the state-owned Bulgarian telecom.
- lecturer at the Freedom forum in Moscow, 2000, as well as on a number of
other venues.
- Chairman, MITF to ICANN, 2000.
- work with the NCDNHC at ICANN
- participant at INET (1999,2000,2001)
