Board of Trustees

2007 Board Election

This year two Trustees will be elected by the ISOC Organizational Members, and one by the ISOC Chapters for full three year terms. In addition, one additional slot in the Chapter elections has opened up due to an early vacancy. This vacancy will be filled by the individual coming in with the second highest number of votes in the Chapter elections and this individual will serve a one year term. One Trustee (the Standards Trustee) will be selected by the Internet Architecture Board.

The new ISOC Trustees will be seated at the ISOC Board meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico, July 1, 2007 and will serve three year terms, ending when new ISOC Board members are seated in 2010.

The procedures for the selection of Trustees of the Internet Society can be found here. A profile of the current Board of Trustees can be found here.
