The Internet Society's mission is to assure the open development, evolution and use of the Internet for the benefit of all people throughout the world.
Become an Organization Member of the Internet Society (www.isoc.org) and join over 150 companies, foundations, and associations worldwide that support our essential work. You can make a difference in the global development of Internet Standards, Public Policy, and Education and Training.
As an Organization Member of ISOC, your contribution allows:
- Substantial funding to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) – the Internet Standards body concerned with the open evolution of the Internet architecture.
- ISOC to provide leadership in complex issues confronting the evolution of the Internet, such as: censorship, privacy, taxation, and intellectual property.
- ISOC to conduct Internet Training Workshops for developing countries, resulting in the spread of the Internet globally.
Membership Levels
There are several contribution levels ranging from Small Business to Platinum, with corresponding benefits. ISOC is a non-profit, non-governmental, member supported association, and your contributions are tax deductible under IRC 501(c)(3).Some of the benefits your organization will receive as a member are:
- Representation on the Internet Society's Advisory Council www.isoc.org/orgs
- A listing and link in our online directory of Organization Members.
- Complimentary passes or reduced fees to ISOC conferences.
- Complimentary ISOC Individual Memberships.
