Policy Update – Internet Governance Forum (IGF)
Matthew Shears will provide an overview of the recent IGF consultation meeting and will discuss upcoming IGF-related events and ISOC activities (and opportunities for organization members to participate) leading up to IGF 2007, which will take place this November in Rio, Brazil. Major Strategic Initiative - “Internet 2020”
Lynn St. Amour and Lucy Lynch will provide an overview of a potential ISOC major strategic initiative – and the opportunities for organization members to participate – to address long term, difficult and/or intractable issues facing the Internet in its on-going development and do so while continuing to hold to ISOC’s core principal that “The Internet is for Everyone”.
