International Conflict Resolution on the Internet: Lessons Learned from Selected Peacemaking Projects

Abstract

The objectives of this poster session are to:

1. showcase selected information exchange, resource sharing, training, and mediation activities in international peacemaking using the Internet, and

2. share the lessons learned from these selected experiences in international conflict resolution.

The United States Institute of Peace has awarded nearly one million dollars in small grants to support research and implementation of Internet applications in international conflict resolution. A selected number of successful projects will be summarized, highlighting their lessons learned.
