I joined the Internet Society in November 2015, where I am the Executive Assistant to the Principal – Internet Technology, Policy, and Advocacy and to the Executive Director for the Internet Society Foundation. I also assist projects, such as community networks, and help organize events.
Prior to joining the Internet Society, I worked as a legal secretary and personal assistant for several international law offices in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. During that career I have taken several courses, including creative writing, editing, and notarial assistant.
Before that I finished hotel management school in Amsterdam and worked in the hotel business in the Netherlands and Australia for eight years.
Traveling, painting, and ceramics are my main hobbies. I finished a course in interior architecture and advise friends purely as a hobby.
I am based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In addition to speaking Dutch and English, I have a basic knowledge of German.
