I'm a communications expert with experience working with policy-driven projects, helping NGOs, governments, and people to promote changes that improve lives.
At the Internet Society, I am the Connecting the unconnected project lead and focus on supporting universal access. I also lead the project's communications, promoting Internet growth globally.
Before joining the Internet Society, I worked with campaigns aimed at improving the Brazilian public service and advocating for data-driven policymaking. I also worked as a consultant, developing communications strategies for political campaigns, tech startups, and international tourism.
With a background as a journalist and an M.A. in International Affairs, my research focused on community networks and transnational civil society organizations. I also hold a M.A. in Media, Politics, and Society.
Working with online communications and taking advantage of the Internet to learn and improve during most of my life, I believe the Internet should be for everyone. I work to make sure it is.
I am based in Florianópolis, Brazil.
